WARNING: Sooooper Creepy Halloween-Related posting ahead:
Not photos. Expect those monday or later.

I like halloween. I really do, always have. As a kid I snapped at one point and was wierdly afraid of a lot of stuff but kind of got over it through Halloween and horror movies and the like. I'd still like to know what made me snap like that...but whatever...
Anyway, the whole dressing up/parties and especially constant scary movies on t.v. made me enjoy it a lot.

I would say this is a youthful holiday ruined by our age.

Well, not ruined...but sullied.

Like how New Years, when we were young, was about sneaking alcohol and partying without parents, Halloween used to be about being scared, dressing up, candy and maaaaaybe some making out. a little.

Now we're older we've capitalized on the making out . Nothing wrong with that. But with the slutty costumes and the playing around Halloween for the single person has become , more than any other holiday, a guntoyourheadgottagottagotta hook up holiday. Thats a lot of pressure.

Slutty cat girl? slutty schoolgirl? its just too much. Though in the past few years I guess somoene can find solace in the fact it seems shirtless slutty man costumes are as common as boobage. But yes, if you arent making out, you feel like you're really missing out on something, like that kid who has more apples and toothbrushes while their brother has full mr.bigs. God damn mr.bigs.

But luckily there is fireworks and booze to soften any blows. As for this halloween, it's gone good. Good parties , seeing most friends and I only drank myself into oblivion to miss one, albeit the pinnacle party. But what of the best part? The Horror Movies???
Well Warren and I watched "Haute Tension" the other night which i think is french for "world's biggest plothole". But it was still pretty pop-out good. The French are surprisingly influenced by Friday the 13th

Right now I'm watching "tales from the darkside"...nothing better than a little "multiple horror short" movie. We really need more of those. And this has Debbie harry.

But I'm rambling now. I hope the spooky images are spooky enough for you.

And I leave you with the BEST little creepy thing i can think of ...

you gotta turn out the lights though.

P.S. my special treat for you is a link for FREE NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD
